Dean Dimonte,
Vice President of Program Development
Dean DiMonte is a founder and Vice President of The Pandemic 101 Corporation.
Drawn towards the field of emergency preparedness, Dean began work as a Paramedic in 1986. Over the course of several years, he worked for Toronto and Ottawa EMS services providing on scene emergency medical care. His skill and abilities led a position with the Air Ambulance Program: in 1999 Dean was amongst the first intakes as the Air Ambulance Helicopter program was expanded to the Ottawa region.
While Dean worked as an advanced care flight paramedic he became involved in program development and adult education for a highly successful first aid training company. Dean was able to hone and sharpen his skills in program development and his aptitude in this regard coupled with his understanding of emergency situations contributed to the unique programming offered by the organization. In 2006 Dean co-founded Respond Solutions Inc. (RSI) to improve the emergency response capabilities of corporations by providing customized, integrated emergency response programs.
Over the years, while working in program development Dean has also specialized his skills and has demonstrated strengths in computer course design and information presentation all geared toward supporting the programs. His experiences culminated in the development and implementation of highly interactive courseware. These courses have been delivered in both instructor led and online venues. Dean has advanced expertise in computer technology and adult learning.
As VP of Program Development, Dean will be directly responsible for all programs developed by Pandemic 101 and leading The Pandemic 101 development team.
